September Favorite

What a month this has been!  I've begun doing photo sessions for friends and family in an effort to determine the path I want to take with my photography.  Oh how I enjoy photography!  I love the challenge of continuous improvement, I love the art and creativity, I love the technical aspects...

This image is from my second official photo session.  I know I have a long way to go, but I love how this photo captures the bond between mother and daughter as well as the energy of the boys running towards them.

Happy Friday

This picture just plain makes me happy.  Sure, it features a bright yellow smiley-faced soccer ball and super-cute soccer shoes, but this picture makes me happy because I took it during my first official photoshoot this past week.  We had a great time, I loved everything about it, and I can't wait to do the next one!  (I have a feeling this is going to get addicting.)
